US Congressman Tom McClintock Endorses Michael Ranalli for County Supervisor
Placerville, CA - US Congressman Tom McClintock has endorsed Michael Ranalli for El Dorado County’s Fourth District seat.
“Restoring El Dorado County’s prosperity while maintaining its rural quality requires leaders who are committed both to the free market principles that create prosperity and the unique culture and history of California’s Gold Country,” said Congressman McClintock. “Michael knows from practical experience which policies make an economy work and which policies hinder economic growth, and he’ll fight for El Dorado County’s hard-working families. Michael Ranalli is the right person at the right time for the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors.”
When asked about Congressman McClintock’s support, Ranalli said, “Congressman McClintock has always been an unwavering champion for free markets, reduced government intrusion, and local control. He knows what California and El Dorado County desperately needs. I am proud to be working with him toward these shared goals at a local level."
Originally from a Western Pennsylvania steel town, Ranalli came to California in the late 1970s and has lived in District 4 for over 30 years and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Taxpayers Association of El Dorado County, Vice-Chairman of the El Dorado County Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee (CEDAC), Coordinator of the countywide Regulatory Reform effort, Divide Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and an officer of the El Dorado Wine Grape Growers Association. Michael and his wife of 20 years, Colleen, live in Lotus and are wine grape growers.
Tom McClintock has represented El Dorado County as part of the Fourth Congressional District since 2009.
